Here are some of the projects on which we have worked on over the last 12 months. We carefully select our missions in order to keep a good balance between startups, scale-ups and corporations as we want to keep on learning from both sides and exchange perspectives. We want our projects to be international, tech-based and with a significant impact potential, from a business and societal point of view. We aided a high-profile scale-up pioneering in artificial intelligence, rooted in neuroscience and backed-up by elite investors, to:

  • Sculpt the future business model, prioritizing execution, pinpointing capability and skill gaps, including cash flow projections and secure funding to ignite future expansion.

Creator Economy + Music industry investment opportunities + web3 implications 

We supported two VCs with limited experience in the Creator Economy and Music Industry fields to look into the opportunity of entering the booming Creator Economy via an investment in two startups, one of which fully positioned in Web3.  
 

  • we looked at the two companies' value proposition, positioning and product market fit.

  • we evaluated the risks related to the company's maturity vs. the market maturity

  • we prepared an evaluation report higlighting the most important due diligence points.

Following a phase focused on research and application development, a prominent AI company, spin-off of a major institute of technology, hired Futurable to boost their sales & marketing activities. In order to double our impact, we worked on this project with a B2B deepTech sales expert, part of our collective.

Go-to-Market for IT business and business model reinvention

Highway Bridge

We helped a Business Unit in a corporation rethink their go-to-market strategy in order to find alternative ways to reach customers.  The business relies on a rather traditional go-to-market model based on distributors and resellers. A new innovative and incremental product was launched in the market following the same model. Our role has been to constructively challenge the organization by providing a perspective on potentially different ways to reach customers and increase market penetration.

  • we analysed the brand and product outreach in the different channels and evaluated their performance

  • we studied the opportunity and the implications of potentially adopting a new approach based on a different model focused on inbound marketing and customer engagement through digital channels.

International expansion for accelerator and scale-ups

A business accelerator hired by a government contacted us to help them support B2B or B2C scale-ups with their Sales & Marketing strategy, specifically with their internationalization goals. Part of a cross-functional team of sr. executives in products, operations, finance, people&culture, we helped a dozen of scale-ups assess their opportunities for expansion and removing obstacles. We studied the market, the team's structure, the commercial plans, the portfolio positioning and USPs and made specific recommendations to lower the risks and maximize the chances for expansion. We supported:
 

  • Mobility company, leader in their local market - we review their plans to enter a significant european market, focusing on point of differentiation, local commercial approach and product-market fit. 

  • A successful Adtech scale-up - we assessed internationalization opportunities by reviewing their "Where To Play / How to Win" strategy across territories, industry focus, lead generation and marketing approach. 

  • A IoT wellness startup with a disruptive value proposition - we assessed their product-market fit strategy and the opportunity to expand internationally after a very successful market entrance in a specific territory.

  • A SaaS speech-recognition company with the strength assessment of their different market channels (B2C and B2B), the effectiveness of their marketing funnel, lead generation and internationalization priorities.
